"You Made My Day"

I appreciate your kindness
More than words can say;

Really made my day!

umm...??

Heyy guys... sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I just keep forgetting {[(tee hee)]}... Well lately we have pretty much been doing routines. Vault is the same thing but running is hurting my knees and shins, hopefully it will go away. On bars I've been having trouble with my free-hip on high bar. I keep falling over in the wrong direction, but I'll keep working on it! On beam it really depends. I can do everything, it's just if I stick it or not. On floor I'm doing pretty well. I seem pretty prepared for my next meet on floor. Speaking of my next meet, Its at Parkettes Gymnastics . My meet is at 7:30 in the morning so we are going so spend the night before at a hotel. Miss Tamara says that we should all take this meet very seriously because it is just like a regional meet. Regional judges are going to be there and a lot of gymnasts from the area are coming too. This meet really shows us our place and how well we are. And one more thing, I would like to thank my Aunt Jo for donating money towards my dream to go to the Olympics... Thanks so much Aunt Jo!! I'm going to keep practicing and I'll be back with a few more updates... catch ya later!!

BARB KNOTHE INVITATIONAL 2008

Well the meet is over and it was a long but fun weekend...we had close to 400 gymnasts come through our gym. There were 64 Level 8 gymnasts, I competed against 15 girls that were age 12 (that's my age). I got First Place All Around with a score of 36.600!!

We started on vault. I thought I wasn't going to do so well and I was really nervous. I ended up sticking both of them though. My score for vault was a 9.125. On my bars I had a rough warm-up. I just started doing a new routine with free-hip on high bar. So in my warm-up when I was doing my free-hip, I went forward and put my foot on the high-bar. It was just a big mess up. But I did well when it came to the competition, my bar score was 9.15. Next was beam, my warm-up was normal and I was first. I fell on my back walkover back tuck but I still got a 8.975 on beam, I thought that was pretty good. Last was floor, I have to say that it was great. On both my warm-up and competition I did well, my score on floor was a 9.35. In all-around I ended up getting first place. I also got a scholarship to Gattaca Camp. It was given to all first and second place winners of all levels.
Our team got First Place for Team Award!!

Barb Knothe Invitational

Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a long time, sometimes I forget. Well one of my home meets is coming up, The Barb Knothe Invitational, January 11-13. We have about 400 gymnast competing..."Good Luck to All!" On January 13, 2007 (Sunday) is when I compete. It turns out that on floor I'm not doing front handspring front full, I think it's a bit too hard for me right now but I'm sure that I'll get it soon.
I keep landing on my butt so it's just about the same routine. On beam, nothing changed to begin with, so I just have to keep up the hard work. Vault it varies from doing Tsuk pike to tsuk tuck, it really depends how I feel at the moment. Bars I'm really not sure what I am doing because I have to say that my bar routine is pretty bad. To top it off, I just got a rip today so I think it's going to be a little hard. Keep looking for posts after the meet to see some of my videos, catch ya later...
